What are the requirements for metal stamping die assembly technology?

What are the requirements for metal stamping die assembly technology? Metal stamping dies belong to single-piece production and processing. In the process of processing, they are processed independently in strict accordance with the dimensions and materials marked on the data drawings provided by the customer. During processing, the relevant dimensions need to be coordinated; some need to be prepared or combined before entering the assembly process, and some need to be assembled before the assembly. Coordination is achieved through preparation in the process, and the dimensions marked on the drawing are only for reference (such as the guide sleeve or guide post fixing holes of the die base, the punch fixing holes on the multi-punch fixing plate, the fixing holes that need to be connected and fixed together). Plate bolt holes, pin holes, etc.).

Therefore, the assembly of metal stamping dies is suitable for centralized assembly, and the repair method and adjustment assembly method are mostly used in the assembly process to ensure assembly accuracy. In this way, components with low precision can be used, high assembly precision can be achieved, and the processing requirements of parts can be reduced. The technical requirements for metal stamping die assembly are as follows.

1. The accuracy of the mold base should meet the specified standards, and the closed height of the mold should meet the specified requirements of the drawings.
2. For the assembled die, the upper die should slide up and down along the guide post smoothly and reliably.
3. The gap between the convex and concave dies should be uniformly distributed according to the requirements specified on the drawings. In this way, the work of the punch or die can meet the technical requirements.
4. The relative position of the positioning and stopper device should meet the requirements of the drawing. The distance between the die guide plates should be consistent with the drawing; the guide surface should be parallel to the center line of the feeding direction of the die; for the guide plate with a side pressure device, the side pressure plate should slide flexibly and work reliably.
5. The relative position of the dismantling material and the ejector device should meet the design requirements, and the working surface is not allowed to have inclination or unilateral deflection, so as to ensure that the parts or waste can be removed in time and ejected smoothly, and to ensure the height of accuracy.
6. The blanking hole or discharge chute should be unobstructed to ensure that the parts or waste can be discharged freely.
7. Standard parts should be interchangeable. The fit of the fastening screws and positioning pins with their holes should be normal and good.
8. The installation size of the metal stamping die on the press should meet the requirements of the selected equipment; ensure the safety and reliability of the processed parts.
9. The metal stamping die should be tested under the conditions of production, and the punched parts should meet the design requirements to ensure the processing process.
